I was born in Nagasaki City, Nagasaki Prefecture. I studied at the Faculty of Science, University of the Ryukyus for my undergraduate degree. For graduate school, I attended the Graduate School of Bioresource and Environmental Sciences at Kyushu University.
I worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Kyushu University, Fukuoka University, and Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology. Since 2021, I have been an assistant professor in the Biochemical Laboratory at the Faculty of Engineering, Shinshu University, on a specific term of employment.
Starting in the spring of 2024, I plan to move to a different university and set up a new lab. I will provide more details after April 1st, so stay tuned!

I have some hobbies I really like. I enjoy planning events. I also like using microscopes, which is both my job and a hobby.
I paint with watercolors too. I read a lot of books, including many different types of manga, which I think is good for general knowledge.
